Bill Delahunt: “We never finished the job in Afghanistan. They never put up a sign that said mission accomplished for Afghanistan.”

I wanted to note that in hearings before the Committee which I Chaired there were a number of military prosecutors that testified that described that entire process as a sham, a joke and a fraud being perpetrated.

We didn't get here because of government. We got here because government didn't do its job.

I find repugnant and offensive, and again adds to why we need to do--to close Guantanamo and to move forward.

It isn't about government overregulating. It is government abdicating its responsibility to supervise.
