That is Colonel Larry Wilkerson, a Republican, former Chief of Staff to Secretary of State Colin Powell. Let me just say, and this is an understatement, this is disturbing. But this is the atmosphere, this is the context, this is why we find ourselves in the situation where it is an embarrassment and it erodes the image of the United States. Whether you supported the war or you did not support the war, it is eroding the image of the United States all over the world, not just in the Middle East, not just in Europe, but in Latin America and in Asia.
