I do not disagree. I think it is time we sit down and consult further with the Colombians, but on Sunday the Colombian people will begin the process of selecting a new president, a new president with different ideas, some of which we may embrace, some of which we may reject. What is the rush? I suggest this is risky, that this is premature and this is why the McGovern-Skelton amendment should be supported.
