“but the American people have a right of transparency and watching and hearing from these people. You make that effort and I understand that you do and you ask questions, but we need to do this in the light of day. There is pervasive corruption ongoing in the rebuilding of Iraq. It is offensive, and this comes from conservative columnists as well as our own military personnel and from multiple, different sources. Yet, the leadership in this House is denying the American people the right to hear.”
