Yet, when the time came, that was a promise that this Vice President and this President reneged on. It is the American people that are building roads in Iraq, it is the American people that are building affordable housing in Iraq, it is the American people that are building hospitals in Iraq, it is the American people that are building brand-new ports in Iraq, it is the American people that are providing practically universal health care coverage in Iraq, it is the American people that are funding jobs in Iraq; and they are never going to get paid back. How about doing that for the American people, President Bush and Vice President Cheney?
