I was ready to vote just for an increase in the debt limit. Singling out the increase in the debt limit and canceling it, that's what this does. What this says is--and here's the problem. We have a majority that has a problem with reality. They have a problem with reality in the field of science. They have a problem with reality in the field of the economy. One of the manifestations of that is their objection to raising the debt limit that was in large part necessary because of debt they incurred.…”
