“I have to say after listening to the gentleman there in that strong condemnation of the current state of the American Government, the Republican Party has been in control of the Presidency, the executive branch and both Houses of Congress for more than 4 years, and yet the gentleman and others have talked in a very condemnatory tone. Are you not being a little hard on yourselves? If, in fact, things are still so bad, what has the Republican Party been doing for the 4 years in which it has been in complete control of the government, not to mention seven of the nine Supreme Court Justices appointed by Republican Presidents?”
