No, because the gentleman is wrong in the description of his amendment. In the first place, there are nonviolent felons other than drug dealers. There are people who committed insurance fraud; there are people who cheated on their taxes, their State taxes. I do not say that under no circumstances should they be released because I think they are not the kind of danger that we are talking about to the community in the near term. The gentleman talked about murderers and rapists, but it includes nonviolent felons.
