“I congratulate all of those who helped bring forward this increase in the minimum wage, a small but important step toward social equity which we very much need. I also want to express my appreciation within this bill to the U.S. Treasury Department, to the Committee on Ways and Means, the chairman, the gentleman from Texas, and the ranking member.
