The hypocrisy is the point.

With the rise of facial recognition technology across our communities, we must pass comprehensive policies that prevent government agencies like DOJ or ICE from using this faulty, flawed technology to spy, track, and kidnap its citizens.

The data doesn’t lie and this report makes plain what we’ve long known: fare-free transit is essential to building connected communities, improving mobility, and making life more affordable for our families.

We should not have any company or contractor operating without a full accounting of their safety record.
