We will not allow the Trump Administration to unlawfully undermine our economy, hamstring our competitiveness, or play politics with our public health.

I appreciate my colleague's comments; and, frankly, I don't disagree that it is arbitrary. I would argue that perhaps how we got to this 800,000 was not by anybody doing a great deal of planning either, so perhaps that is arbitrary. But…

That is what we are about here in Massachusetts. And frankly that`s what Democrats are about -- not political stunts but helping people with a sense of empathy and compassion.
