I will not vote for this resolution. While I stand firmly and without hesitation against all forms of violence, I cannot support language that requires us to praise a man who so often showed disdain and disrespect for others.

Militarizing the streets of New Orleans is not a solution. Period.

We oppose the proposed Regulation for Federal Financial Assistance rule, which would concentrate political control over federal spending, undermine constitutionally protected rights, disrupt billions of dollars in existing awards, and…

All those banking on that, save the popcorn for another day.
