I point that out and that that not be used for any kind of justification for the other disagreements and issues and concerns we had with what happened on the floor yesterday. Frankly, there were statements made on the gentleman's side as well that I think ought to be addressed, apologized for.

I first want to express my condolences to Hakeem Jeffries for the devastating defeat that the voters of New York imposed upon him last night in his own backyard in Democrat primaries.
Swing voters do not want socialism. Frankly, a lot of Democrats don't want socialism.
We keep them all in our prayers. We continue to not only pray for them but work and vote to ensure that our Department of Homeland Security has the tools to keep our country safe so this never happens again.
This is surely not your father or grandfather's Democrat Party. They've fully embraced socialism.
