Last week, at an event in Washington, House Speaker Mike Johnson reminded the audience of one of John Quincy Adams’ favorite lines: 'Duty is ours; results are God’s.'

They will turn every committee of Congress into an investigative body, and they’ll go after the president’s family, the cabinet, his donors and friends, half of you in this room will be targeted.

I certainly want him to take the biggest, boldest marker that he has and do that big Trump signature proudly on that legislation, because we’re delivering for the people and that’s what he wants to do.

So I hope he does sign it. If he doesn't, it's still law; we'll still celebrate it. But he's trying to make a point and I think he's making it very effectively.
