“Madam Speaker, I would like to kick off our first Wednesday Special Order Hour of the year by extending my congratulations and warm wishes to all of our colleagues, all the new Members, all the Members who are returning here. We have very, very important work to do in the 118th Congress. I want to thank our House Democrat counterparts, as well, for working with us to ensure a smooth transition from the minority to the majority.
