Mike Johnson: “Why did you and the Administration ignore the view of Secretary Mattis and still go ahead with the tariffs?”

There are colleagues who have concerns.

I need to tell the White House what some of my colleagues think about that, and not everybody is in favor of the idea.

If, heaven forbid, we lost the majority, I would expect my colleagues would call upon me to continue to lead the conference in divided government.

We've got to think through the policy implications of all that.
