I am here for two reasons this morning, and I will be brief. One is to reluctantly support my friend Ray Mabus for Secretary of the Navy, only under the condition that he be fair to the State of Louisiana in shipbuilding with our neighbor Mississippi.
Landrieu supports Mabus's nomination but emphasizes fairness to Louisiana's shipbuilding interests.
