every family in America understands the importance of educating our children, and, Mr. Chairman, I come before you today urging support of the Lowey amendment and to urge that we recapture the self-assurance, courage, and vision which guided us after World War II to invest in the future. An investment in education reduces our deficit, and secures our future.
