I would again disagree with the gentlelady. I would have to say that, unfortunately, it is our grandchildren who are being held hostage. Now they have tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands of dollars each in future debt from the spending we do today. Needless to say, we need to take care of the problem. We need to take care of the emergency, and we need to take care of the people who are hurt. But for heaven's sake, we should not be spending money restoring coastlines on islands that nobody ever goes to. With that, I yield back the balance of my time. The Acting CHAIR. The question is on the amendment offered by the gentleman from Louisiana (Mr. Fleming), as modified. The question was taken; and the Acting Chair announced that the noes appeared to have it.
