I think it bears noting that this bill defies common sense. We just talked about the fact that you take a half a trillion dollars out of Medicare, which is already struggling, and no one has ever explained in this year-long debate how in the world they are going to do that except to say fraud, waste, and abuse. But if we had the tools to do that better today, why aren't we already doing it? That is number one. {time} 1845
