I deeply appreciate the very bipartisan, fair, conscientious leadership of this subcommittee... This bill deals with important university research across our country; it provides Department of Energy funding to protect American citizens from the threat of nuclear attack, terrorists; it deals with a whole range of issues that have a direct impact on the quality of life of American citizens.
