As I listened to the deserving tributes paid to this remarkable public servant, I realized that death sometimes robs us of our last chance to say goodbye. So to my friend and colleague Mike Synar, I want to say goodbye one last time. I want to say, thank you, Mike, for reminding us what courage is all about.
