the people who wrote this budget may not like it. I know America's veterans will not like it. But the fact is, the truth is that this budget cuts veterans health care benefits compared to today's benefits by $13.5 billion once you take into account inflation. That is a reality. That is the truth. And that number does not even count the increasing number of veterans that need VA health care, which is 300,000 veterans this year, 300,000 veterans next year, so the real story is even worse than 13.5 billion in cuts.
