This is a moment where it is refreshing to hear Speaker Johnson right here, you know, Republican, Democratic partisans, the president of the United States, saying, everybody take a step back, everybody take a breath.

It was a very strong speech. It was a forcefully delivered speech. It was in the president's wheelhouse, which is building alliances, which is a big contrast he wants to make with Donald Trump.

The material that has come from the administration so far has been chaotic and also vague and confusing.
