You have a president of the United States saying he will forcibly resettle people who live on land. The international community says is theirs. It's a violation of international law.

It was a very strong speech. It was a forcefully delivered speech. It was in the president's wheelhouse, which is building alliances, which is a big contrast he wants to make with Donald Trump.

The question is, do the rules apply anymore? This is the question I ask myself all the time.

This is a moment where it is refreshing to hear Speaker Johnson right here, you know, Republican, Democratic partisans, the president of the United States, saying, everybody take a step back, everybody take a breath.
