We lit the Confederate Flag on fire because we need to burn the remnants of the Confederacy from every piece of legislation that it remains in, in this country, that we are watching gerrymandering be attempted to happen, that the Supreme Court is levying its hand in these inequitable maps that are produced by Alabama. And this democracy is in trouble.
