It is unbelievable that we are even here having to debate this, once again, about whether it is appropriate for people who are citizens of foreign countries, people who are here illegally, people who can vote for Vladimir Putin would also get to vote for the Mayor of D.C. It is unbelievable that people in this body who represent hundreds of thousands of citizens of this country believe that that is the appropriate path. Madam Speaker, I urge adoption of this legislation.
