Congresswoman Peltola has been a big advocate and supporter in educating the committee and following in the footsteps of Congressman Don Young in advocating for that State.

The reason that we purchased Alaska was largely the geography, as well as the natural resources, and the abundance of that State is profound and just critically important.

All of these groups are supporting this bill and urging a ``no'' vote on the other bill, H.R. 5342.
