I think we need to come together around things on which we agree. I think those things are and should be bipartisan and we should not bend over backwards to somehow make them partisan in this silly game. ... It is not right. It is politics ahead of people, purely and simply. I am very sorry that again the majority leader has rejected this simple idea. I will keep making the request because this program has now lapsed. It has not existed since June 1 and that is hurting people and that is hurting the economy.
