Mr. Speaker, Buffalo will select a new site for a train station in the next several months and will build a new passenger train terminal in the next 2 years. This offers an opportunity to remake Buffalo's storied Central Terminal. Selection of the Central Terminal will be a catalyst for the redevelopment of the city's Broadway-Fillmore neighborhood, improve destination choice, and will represent the next exciting iteration of what is possible in the new Buffalo. This is not simply about building a new train station. Selection of the Central Terminal is a bold statement of confidence and commitment by a city of limitless potential and possibility. ____________________
