The trend lines in all these areas are very disturbing, in my mind, as a physician who has been around health care for quite a long time.

We are seeing the costs going up. And of course what the President is proposing is higher taxpayer liability.

This is an absolutely essential amendment because we need more transparency about methods and how these assumptions are built into what they are proposing. Mr. Chairman, I yield 2 minutes to the gentleman from Georgia (Mr. Loudermilk).

Less choice, less information, less control. This is disastrous for health care.
