The text of the amendment is as follows: Page 438, after the matter after line 2, insert the following: SEC. 1022. PROHIBITION ON PAYMENT OF FUNDS RELATED TO CLOSURE OF CERTAIN SHIPYARD FACILITY. The Secretary of Defense may not make any payments pursuant to section 2325 of title 10, United States Code, to a contractor related to the restructuring or closure of the shipyard manufacturing complex located in Avondale, Louisiana. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 276, the gentleman from Louisiana (Mr. Richmond) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Louisiana.
