I would like to take time to recognize that October 10, 2015, will be the 104th National Day of the Republic of China, Taiwan. Over the years, the United States and Taiwan have maintained a strong relationship based on common values and global interests. I hope to see Taiwan remain a strong ally and trade partner for many years to come as we look towards a mutually prosperous future. It is a great pleasure to extend my best wishes to the people of Taiwan on this special day. ____________________
