The Public Record
I support Dr. Burgess' bill, the Social Determinants of Health Data Analysis Act, which would require GAO to report on the actions taken by the Secretary of HHS to address social determinants of health.
Medicare Advantage has demonstrated how successful private insurance plans can be if given the proper flexibilities.

These behaviors have resulted in the EU being way behind the U.S. in distributing COVID-19 vaccines to their citizens.
The Democrat bill, H.R. 3 would disincentivize further development of vaccines and hinder development of lifesaving drugs.
I strongly disagreed with this legislation because it was mostly used as a trojan horse for progressive polices and only 9% of the funding went directly to fighting COVID-19.
We must continue to be a leader of medical innovation and encourage the development of new treatments and cures in our great country.
