After high school, Michael joined the Army Reserve and later became the chief of the Greenland Police Department in 2000. Michael was tragically killed in the line of duty on April 12, 2012, only 8 days out from his retirement. Mr. Speaker, I support naming a post office in honor of Chief Michael Maloney.
