I think we are all aware that yields are doing well in a lot of parts of the country, but the prices are down, and they may be down for a while, and farm incomes down over 50 percent, I think, on average across the country.
The 180-days loophole is a longstanding problem with a simple, bipartisan, broadly popular, noncontroversial solution at the ready.
It certainly was not the intent of how those programs were to work, and it certainly is not a way to ensure that people who need the resources, those folks who need the food stamps the most, get them.
I will say that what continues to give me pause, and I think the net neutrality debate is a very interesting one, is the potential camel's nose under the tent regarding future regulation.
