I would like an assessment of a comprehensive immigration program, meaning legislation that Congress would have to plan for, access to citizenship, for green cards, et cetera.

I take no back seat to that, nor do I have any reason to take any suggestion that my Democratic colleagues do not stand against discrimination in any form.

I view this hearing as probably one of the most important hearings in my lifetime dealing with the absolute question of the survival of the Constitution.

Everyone must be accountable to spending public money, every agency.
