I hope that the more we get to understand each other, even starting in early education, that we are a better nation, we are unified, and that we become the beloved community.

I abhor the abuse of children.

Nobody has a right to threaten his or her fellow citizens with violence.

I do think it is important that we stand up a system that respects, coddles, nurtures, and protects these children.
