NIPSCO is a monopoly utility that Hoosiers pay every month with the expectation that it will use its considerable resources to maintain its system, prepare for severe weather and restore service as quickly as possible when disaster strikes.

Next step would be (that) we’ll find a replacement for Andy, and nothing else to announce there other than I was disappointed that he didn’t take on affordability and holding utilities accountable.

I will do everything in my power to protect Hoosier lives and livelihoods as we respond to this historic severe weather.
