Earlier today, I mistakenly cast my vote against tabling the privileged motion offered by Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi. In fact, I intended to vote in favor of tabling the motion and would like my intentions to be reflected in the Record. ____________________

This is a pretty amazing hearing, the party of Andrew Jackson who opposed the national banks not only proposing another national bank.
Well, I personally feel I should have probably abstained from the hearing.
The proposal to end the FFEL program and replace it with direct federal student lending will have negative consequences on students, it is fiscal madness and the alleged financial benefits to the federal government are likely illusionary.
