nonprofit organizations are already covered under the Tax Code, because under religious freedom in the United States, one is allowed to exercise freedom of religion. What this does would leave the discretion to the Department of HUD, as they do currently, to give grants to faith-based organizations, including African American church units which currently get the funding in the inter-faith initiative under Secretary Cuomo.
