I have found few things as ridiculous since I have been elected to Congress in 1994 as the headline that I saw last week in the Washington Times, repeated in various publications around the country in different ways. That headline says ``Clinton Threatens to Recall Lawmakers to Hill. Campaign Finance Vote Demanded During Session.'' Madam Speaker, I was trying to sort this through. My basic understanding of this was that the President of the United States, Mr. Campaign Finance himself, is threatening to call us into session for campaign finance reform; this, the President who has made more from Air Force One, the plane, than Harrison Ford made from the movie? He wants us to have a session on campaign finance reform? Tonight, Madam Speaker, we are going to talk a little bit about this President and some of his friends. Additional Members will be joining me as we go through this. But I have been soliciting some information about different people's opinion on this, and what their reaction was to this headline.
