The text of the amendment is as follows: At the end of the bill (before the short title), insert the following: Sec. __. None of the funds made available by this Act may be used by the Bureau of Consumer Financial Protection to commence any administrative adjudication or civil action under section 1053 of the Consumer Financial Protection Act of 2010 more than 3 years after the date of discovery of the violation to which the adjudication or action relates. The Acting CHAIR. Pursuant to House Resolution 794, the gentleman from Indiana (Mr. Messer) and a Member opposed each will control 5 minutes. The Chair recognizes the gentleman from Indiana.
