In my opinion, that is exactly what H.R. 2482, the Mainstream Addiction Treatment Act does. It removes education requirements and limits making it easier to prescribe a medication known to be highly diverted and misused.
This partisan bill expands authorizations leading to massive taxpayer spending during a time when Americans are trying to return to normal life, and I think that is unfortunate.
Congressman Rush and myself are proposing this legislation, to make sure that the DOT... investigates this performance to detect and classify vulnerable road users.
This is a battle between politics and science and physics, and I can tell you which one will win out.
