This hearing of the Committee on Agriculture, Subcommittee on Nutrition, to review SNAP characteristics and dynamics, will come to order.

I have been involved in international feeding programs.

Taxpayers and recipients deserve a thoughtful and thorough review of SNAP.

It is my hope and expectation that this Subcommittee... will explore and gain a better understanding of the entire program.
