With all due respect to the gentleman and his point on all these ``checkoffs,'' this is a tax that the American people themselves resoundingly in 2011 have said, absolutely not. In fact, the American people put so much pressure on President Obama, he actually backed off and rescinded this and moved it into a different time slot, which is what we're looking at today. The people in my district are hardworking Americans. They're double- income households, single moms with kids under the age of 18 that are trying to raise up households, they're trying to pay for their bills, they're trying to pay their mortgage and they're trying to put gas in their car.
