“Mr. President, I do agree we should be debating what is happening in the world, particularly on the issue of ISIS and its impact not only on America, not only on Europe but on the world, and that is what I intend to do. We have all witnessed the horrific attacks in Paris and this unprecedented form of evil that we have seen disrupt the lives of free people. All Americans--Republicans, Democrats, Independents--all Americans stand in solidarity with Paris and the French people. This isn't just an attack on Paris. We, the United States, need to show the world that threats to our principal freedoms are entirely unacceptable.…”
