I do not feel it's appropriate for me to, in a public session in which confidential conversations between the President and myself--I don't believe it's appropriate for me to address that in a public session.
I think those are two very relevant issues that ought to be thought through and policy ought to be devised.
In the end, we follow the law, whatever it is, regardless of our personal opinions.
I think that it needs to be under my authority. And I've made that very, very clear.
