Kicking Turkey in the teeth, our friend right now, is not a constructive thing to do. If my colleagues want to write a letter to the Turkish leadership, and I would be happy to participate, expressing our concern about some things that we agree to, that is one thing. But for this Congress to take this kind of a hard line position to kick a good, steadfast ally that has been there forever in the teeth makes absolutely no sense.
