this amendment contains technical and clarifying corrections to the legislation that I have worked out in advance with our ranking member, the gentleman from California (Mr. Waxman), and the gentleman from Texas (Mr. Turner), the subcommittee ranking member. There are eight changes that include such things as correctly aligning reporting dates and clarifying language used in definitions. These changes serve to make the intent of the bill as clear as possible. I think this is an amendment that everybody will support. It is technical in nature and has been cleared with the ranking minority members, as well.
